Privacy Policy

The short version
Pulse has no account system and no server of ours holding your data. Your entries live on your iPhone, optionally synced through your own personal iCloud. We cannot see your weight, workouts, water, steps or habits. Ever. We do not sell data and we show no ads.
What Pulse stores, and where
Everything you log in Pulse (weight, water, workouts, habits, routines, goals and preferences) is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is available on your device, Pulse syncs this data to the private part of your personal iCloud so it survives a device switch. That private database belongs to your Apple ID; neither ZENARE nor anyone else can read it. You can export all of it from Settings, and deleting the app (plus its iCloud data via iOS settings) removes it.
Apple Health
With your permission, Pulse reads one thing from Apple Health: your daily step count. It is read-only, used to show your steps and your daily score, and never transmitted to us or anyone else. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app under Sharing.
Crash reports
To keep the app stable, Pulse sends anonymous crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) when the app crashes. These contain technical details such as device model, iOS version, app version and the state of the app at the moment of the crash. They contain none of your health entries and are not linked to your identity.
Optional usage statistics
Pulse can share anonymous usage statistics (which screens are used, which features matter) through Firebase Analytics. This is off by default and only ever runs if you switch it on, either when the app asks you once after the tour, or later in Settings → Privacy. You can switch it off again at any moment. These statistics never include your health data and are not linked to you as a person.
This website
pulse.zenare.nl uses Google Analytics with anonymized IP addresses, and only after you accept the cookie banner. Declining loads no analytics at all. The site sets no marketing cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (AVG) you have the right to access, correct, export and erase your data. For Pulse this is largely in your own hands: your data is on your device, exportable from Settings, and erased by deleting the app and its iCloud data. For anything else, including questions about crash reports or analytics, contact us and we will help.
Changes and contact
